Dr. Teller is an expert in environmental sociology with a strong interest in applied research useful to community members. With expertise in qualitative and quantitative research and in the social and natural sciences, she works on finding ways to bridge and integrate across these areas.
Dr. Teller has experience and training in research design, data collection and analysis, community engagement, social theory, and writing for varied audiences. She has published peer-reviewed journal articles on a range of topics related to environment and society. As part of that research, she has carried out fieldwork in different parts of the U.S. and internationally.
